Benefits of Smoking
You must be surprised when reading the title of this article. Just as I was shocked when I first read of the source. I am aware of negative information about cigarettes and smoking habits crammed us long ago. Most attributed the adverse effects of cigarette smoke and substances contained therein for human health. Such information is received by the lay public about research and research as an absolute truth that does not need to be debated.
But not so with the scientists. In accordance with the field of science they conduct research about the effects of smoking and smoking for the health of the departure from a neutral rationale. They tried to dig there any benefits of substances contained in cigarettes on human health, which has been given a negative stigma widely.
This news certainly did not intend to invite you to start smoking or to continue your habit of tobacco smoke inhalation. But it is your right to believe or not that nicotine and other substances that also comes from nature and is in cigarettes also have utility.
Here's some research that reveals the human health benefits of cigarettes. I am not a doctor or a researcher in health, so the scientific discussion about the content of this article can be debated by the experts themselves.
Benefits of Smoking:
1. Smoking Reduces Risk of Parkinson's
Considerable evidence suggests that smoking against Parkinson's disease. A new study adds strong evidence that previous reports that smoking may protect people from Parkinson's disease. In particular, new research shows a temporal relationship between smoking and a reduced risk of Parkinson's disease. That is, the protective effect against Parkinson reduced after smokers stop smoking.
Other studies on the positive effects of smoking on Parkinson's Disease (PD) is a study of 113 male twin pairs. The research team led by Dr. Tanner continues to see a significant difference when calculated dose to 10 or 20 years before diagnosis. They concluded that these findings refute the claim that people who smoke tend to have PD. There are many other studies on the smoking habits are useful against Parkinson.
2. Smokers are more powerful and faster recovery from heart attack and stroke
Another major study showing the benefits of smoking, the benefits to restenosis or narrowing of blood vessels that causes blood flow to be restricted, such as the blood vessels to the heart (cardiovascular disease) or to the brain (stroke) Smokers have a better chance of survival and healing more fast.
Another study says carbon monoxide can reduce heart attacks and strokes. Carbon monoxide is a byproduct of tobacco smoke. A report showed very low levels of carbon monoxide can help the victims of heart attacks and strokes. Carbon monoxide inhibits blood clotting, thereby dissolving harmful clots in the arteries. The researchers focused on the close similarity between the carbon monoxide with nitric oxide that keeps blood vessels remain dilated and prevent the accumulation of white blood cells. Recently, nitric oxide has been upgraded from regular air pollutants into the second most important physiological link internally. Therefore, it would not be surprising if the carbon monoxide can paradoxically save the lungs from injury caused by blockage of blood vessels to the heart (cardiovascular blockage).
